Laser Cutting

Laser cutters are ideal for quickly machining and duplicating complex parts. An extremely precise technology, the laser is perfect for cutting shapes, holes and any other precision requirements. With high production expectations, SCT keeps three laser cutters running at all times as follows:

Cincinnati CL707
- 2000 watt Dual Pallet Table measuring 72” x 144”
- Maximum material thickness of 1/2”
Amada
- 4000 watt Dual Pallet Table measuring 60” x 120”
- Maximum material thickness of 3/4”
Mazak
- 4000 watt Dual Pallet Table measuring 72” x 144”
- Maximum material thickness of 3/4”

Welding

Our experienced welders specialize in Steel, Stainless Steel and Aluminum.

Structural, Magnetic Particle, and Dye Penetrant testing are also offered when required.

Welding Capabilities
- MIG, TIG, Flux Core depending on the job
- CWB Certification to CSA standards for steel and aluminum (47.1 & 47.2)

Breaking & Bending

Using extreme pressure, the break transforms flat pieces of metal into the required profile. Three inhouse breaks help to accommodate a demanding production schedule as follows:

Accurpress
- Two axis, 250 tons, up to 12’ material
- Four axis, 400 tons, up to 14’ material
Amada
- Eight axis, 80 tons, up to 8’ material

Shearing

The hydraulic shear is used to quickly and accurately cut flat sheets into pieces of any size:

Accurshear
- Up to 12’ material, maximum thickness 1/4”

Plate Rolling & Forming

The plate roller combines a series of metal rollers with extreme
pressure to form sheet metal into any curve including cone shapes:

Heller Roller
- Up to 100” material, maximum thickness 5/16”

Pipe Bending & Rolling

The pipe bender/roller forms square, rectangular and round tubing into any shape:

Ercolina Super Bender/Top Bender
- Bend materials from 5/8” to 2 1/4”
- Capable of bending from 1 to 180 degrees

Pipe & Rod Cutting

Pipe, rod and tubing can be automatically cut to any length with the automatic band saw. This tool is perfect for handling large production runs, ensuring consistency and accuracy:
